Privacy

Upprove is a community to help people build better. Submissions include a name, website, pitch, logo, screenshot and maker email. The email stays private and is used to send you new ratings on your listing. Upprover names, ranks, statuses, avatars and bios are public.

Upprovers log in with email. We store that email privately and send a short-lived 6-digit code when you sign in. A session cookie keeps you logged in. You can log out from your profile.

Ratings use a session plus a hashed network address (HMAC, not the raw IP) so one network can list one product and leave one rating per product. We do not store raw IP addresses.

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-NQR3DY0HDB) to see how the site is used: page views, product submissions, ratings and outbound clicks. Google may set its own cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.
